Name: National Public Lands Day
Date: September 24, 2022
Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM CDT
Event Description:
Join park staff in restoring the native tallgrass prairie from 9am - 11am on Saturday, September 24th. Whether it's collecting prairie seeds, planting native seeds, or removing invasive species, there's something for the whole family! Bring sturdy shoes and layers - we'll provide everything else (including a complimentary lunch at 11:00am when the work is done).

National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest single-day volunteer effort for public lands. Seven federal agencies as well as nonprofit organizations and state, regional, and local governments participate in the annual day of improving the health of public lands and encouraging shared stewardship through volunteer service.
