The District #3 Schoolhouse will once again be holding class for the summer of 2026. Museum staff will lead activities from 1-3pm each Thursday beginning June 4 and concluding on August 27, 2026. There WILL NOT be schoolyard games held in the summer of 2026. Children who have recently completed kindergarten and older are invited to attend. For your child?s safety, an Emergency Contact Form will need to be on file for each student who attends. The Pipestone A's are a member of the Gopher League. Join us at A's Field in Westview Park on 2nd Street NW, North of Paulsen Field on West MN Hwy 30. Admission is FREE, and we have a concession stand where we will have hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, as well as ice cold Pepsi products or ice cold beer for those of age. Enjoy the seating behind home plate that came straight from Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles. The Pipestone County Historical Society will be hosting a series of cemetery walking tours throughout the summer of 2026. Tours will be held on the second Saturday of each month, June through September. All tours will begin at 2:00 p.m. and each tour will include stories of Pipestone County pioneers, Pipestone County veterans, and the meaning behind the symbolism found on some of the gravestones. The cost of each tour is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for members of the Historical Society, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Pipestone County Museum or at the Cemetery on the day of the event. ... read more
