The Pipestone County Historical Society will be hosting a series of cemetery walking tours throughout the summer of 2026. Tours will be held on the second Saturday of each month, June through September. All tours will begin at 2:00 p.m. and each tour will include stories of Pipestone County pioneers, Pipestone County veterans, and the meaning behind the symbolism found on some of the gravestones. The cost of each tour is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for members of the Historical Society, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Pipestone County Museum or at the Cemetery on the day of the event. ... read more

The Open House is designed specifically to give prospective singers an opportunity to learn more about the group and see what being an Al Opland Singer is all about. Whether you have sung with a choir for years or simply enjoy singing and are looking for a fun group to join, this is an opportunity to come check it out. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. upstairs in the Performing Arts Center lobby. Prospective singers can meet current members and directors, ask questions, learn more about the group and enjoy light refreshments. At 7 p.m., the singers will head downstairs for a light rehearsal.
