Pipestone HRA

The Pipestone Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) was established in 1966. Nokomis Apartments started construction in December of 1969 and was completed in 1970 with residents moving in on March 4 of 1971.

Nokomis Apartments have 80 one-bedroom apartments and 2 two-bedroom apartments.

In 1989, six 2-bedroom and two 4-bedroom family homes were built. In 1990, six 3-bedroom family units were built. In 1991, six 3-bedroom family units were built. These 20 scattered site family units were constructed through the community.

The HRA also oversees 53 Sec 8 vouchers for Pipestone County.
